During 21-23 July, 2021, as one of the key activities under the ASEAN-China Year of Sustainable Development Cooperation, ASEAN-China Environmental Cooperation Week 2021 was held both online and offline in Beijing.

The event was sponsored by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China (MEE) and Mission of the People’s Republic of China to ASEAN, supported by ASEAN Secretariat, and organized by China-ASEAN Environmental Cooperation Center/Foreign Environmental Cooperation Center, MEE.

ASEAN-China Environmental Cooperation Week 2021 aims to promote the implementation of related cooperation initiatives proposed in ASEAN-China Summit, and gather consensus between ASEAN Member States and China on cooperation in climate change, marine ecological environmental conservation and other areas under the Framework of ASEAN-China Environmental Cooperation Strategy and Action Plan (2021-2025).
