The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on topics such as deepening China-Brazil cooperation in the fields of environment and climate, building green value chain partnerships, and promoting sustainable agricultural trade.

Li Xia extended a warm welcome to the visiting Brazilian delegation and introduced FECO’s progress in China-Brazil environmental cooperation, the implementation of international environmental conventions, and multilateral and bilateral cooperation on environment and climate. She stated that, as the supporting agency of Subcommittee on Environment and Climate Change under the China-Brazil High-Level Coordination and Cooperation Commission (COSBAN), FECO has always been committed to deepening strategic collaboration between the two countries in the environmental and climate sectors. She looked forward to further strengthening dialogue, communication, and pragmatic cooperation with Brazilian multi-stakeholders to promote more substantive progress in China-Brazil cooperation regarding the construction of green value chain partnership networks, the empowerment of supply chain transformation through green finance, and the sustainable management of ecosystems.

Andre Guimaraes, head of the Brazilian delegation and Executive Director of IPAM, expressed high appreciation for the positive progress FECO has achieved in global environmental and climate governance cooperation. He introduced the progress of the delegation's 6 institutions in areas such as technical exchanges on China-Brazil environmental and climate policies, Amazon rainforest protection and sustainable land use, the construction of green agricultural supply chains, and the development of sustainable agri-food systems. He expressed a willingness to actively promote the complementary strengths of both sides, establish a closer partnership with FECO, and continuously expand the breadth and depth of cooperation on issues of mutual concern through technical exchanges and joint research.
